Abstract

The development of clothing products with an emphasis on the safety and security of the wearer represents a problem in the current environment and society, a current problem in our society as well, determined by the increase in the number of road accidents involving children, children being the most vulnerable group of pedestrians. The use of reflective elements both incorporated in clothing and applied to shoes, headgear or accessories is a solution for increasing the degree of security. The paper presents the results of a study on the current situation in the field of clothing with an increased degree of security and safety, with the recommendation of some applicable solutions in children's clothing.
