dc.description.abstract	The conditions of cattle breeding was analyzed in the Republic of Moldova in the period 1990-2009. Certain changes were noted in connection with privatization. In the mentioned period the livestock of bovine breeds vastly decreased, as well as its productivity, gross production of milk and beef. There were proposed recommendations in order to recover the mentioned branches.	en_US
