Abstract

The efforts for peace made at the end of World War II were based on the belief that only through "European unification" could a history of war, bloodshed, suffering and destruction of Europe be brought to an end. The Constitutive Treaties of the European Communities have been imbued with this fundamental intention. The supranational nature of the European Union becomes a helpful tool in understanding and explaining the institutional relations between the Union and its members. The system of government has seen many developments in various ways. In the context of deepening the achievement of the European Union 's objectives, the boundary of EU policies and issues is wider than ever.
