dc.description.abstract | The existing model of learning and workspaces slows down, rather than facilitates the cognitive capacity for concentration and operational effectiveness. However, is this caused by a lack of understanding of the decisive factors for our attention? Regardless of compliance with normative requirements in a given space, if it does not have a limited function, the cognitive ability to concentrate will not be sustained, and all factors will end up being, almost, if not, non-effective. The design of architectural space must meet the needs of different psychological profiles of people so that they can benefit from the environment that will facilitate concentration. One such space is the architectural concept of the architect David Dewane, eudaimonia machine, based on the concept of Aristotle, the epitome of human capacity. | en_US |
