Analiza pieţei asigurărilor din Republica Moldova

Abstract

Insurance is a key sector of the economy, whose influence is felt in the protection of certain economic and social risks, the role of stimulating medium and long term savings, as well as the provision of funds in the financial market. Findings insurance market situation can be achieved by presenting quantitative indicators reflecting the insurance sector in the national economy as well as qualitative indicators characterizing the quality of services provided by local insurance companies and, above all, financial capacity them to honor its commitments. Currently the insurance market in Moldova is developing, we can even say underdeveloped, and the contribution of this sector to GDP remains one insignificant fact deduced from analysis of the study "Development and diversification of the insurance market in Moldova".
