Tendinţe în arhitectura şi urbanismul Republicii Sovietice Socialiste Moldoveneşti

Abstract

Acest articol examinează tendinţele în arhitectura şi urbanismul Republicii Sovietice Socialiste Moldoveneşti (RSSM) prin intermediul politicilor şi legislaţiei, urmărind expunerile participanţilor la Congresele Uniunii Arhitecţilor (UA), evenimente periodice, la care participau toţi arhitecţii uniunii şi invitaţii din diferite domenii: conducători de Partid şi Guvern, miniştri, lucrători ai organizaţiilor de construcţii, tipografi, scriitori, artişti, lucrători ai instituţiilor de proiectare, ai organizaţiilor publice şi oaspeţi din alte republici ale Uniunii Republicilor Sovietice Socialiste (URSS). Cercetarea este periodizată cronologic prin studiul stenogramelor Congreselor UA. Acestea înregistrau evenimentele integral, de la raportarea sistematică a activităţilor arhitecţilor şi a profesiunilor conexe (privind urbanismul, arhitectura, restructurarea instituţiilor, calificarea specialiştilor, cercetările în domeniu şi altele), urmate de aprecieri sau critici atât din partea conducerii, cât şi din partea specialiştilor, până la o serie de decizii urmate de a fi realizate. Arhitectul respectă politicile, neavând drept decizional, iar creativitatea se reduce la căutarea rezolvărilor socialiste perfecte. Aceste documente reflectă dezvoltarea republicii prin palierul politic, legislativ şi arhitectural-urbanistic, demonstrând strânsa legătură dintre guvernare şi specialist prin reglementare.

This article examines the tendencies in the architecture and urbanism of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic (MSSR) through policies and laws, contained in the speeches of the participants in the Congresses of the Union of Architects, in periodic events, in which all the architects of the Union and invitees from different fields participated: Party and Government leaders, Ministers, workers of construction organizations, printers, writers, artists, workers of design institutions, public organizations and guests of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). The research is chronologically organized, through the study of the transcripts of the UA Congresses. They recorded the events in their entirety, from the systematic reporting of the activities of architects and related professions (regarding urbanism, architecture, restructuring of institutions, qualification of specialists, research in the field and others), followed by appreciation or criticism from both leadership and specialists, up to a series of decisions to be made. The architect obeyed the policies, having no right to make a decision, and his creativity was reduced to the search for perfect socialist solutions. These documents reflect the development of the country through the political, legislative and architectural-urban level, demonstrating the close connection between government and specialist through regulation.
