Relația mentalitate colectivă – responsabilitate socială în condițiile noilor provocări societale

Abstract

Acest articol analizează relevanța cercetării mentalităților colective ca demers esențial în conștientizarea și înțelegerea lumii contemporane, a cărei transformări profunde depind de schimbările care se produc în sistemul de valori existente, în atitudinea omului contemporan vizavi de rolul social pe care îl îndeplinește în condițiile noilor provocări societale, prin raportare la conceptul de responsabilitate socială ca comportament etic aplicabil în orice tip de activitate, individuală și colectivă, cu scopul de a contribui la dezvoltarea unei societăți durabile. De asemenea autorul reiterează rolul procesului educațional ca cel mai important pilon al schimbării de mentalitate și impactul educației în cultivarea comportamentelor responsabile prosociale.

This article analyzes the relevance of researching collective mentalities as an essential step in the awareness and understanding of the contemporary world, whose profound transformations depend on changes in the existing value system, in the attitude of contemporary man towards the social role he plays in the new societal challenges, by referring to the concept of social responsibility as ethical behavior applicable in any type of activity, individual and collective, in order to contribute to the development of a sustainable society. The author also reiterates the role of the educational process as the most important pillar of the change of mentality and the impact of education in cultivating responsible prosocial behaviors.
