dc.description.abstract | Access control is a fundamental security component in a system, especially in rapidly developing domains such as the cloud or the Internet of Things. The nature of these domains renders formerly acclaimed access control techniques inefficient in environments that are distributed and need highly scalable solutions. Attribute-based access control offers a multitude of advantages, especially through its cryptographic implementation, attribute-based encryption. Weighted threshold access structures are structures that closely cover real-life scenarios and have high applicability in practice as access control policies. | en_US |
