The problems of rural youth employment in the Republic of Moldova

Abstract

This article analyzes the main reasons for the low level of employment of rural youth: low wages; lack of professional experience; the limited supply of jobs; the lack of preparation for the demands of the modern labor market; reducing the interest and motivation of young people to work in the agricultural sector. These and other reasons have led to an increase in unemployment among young people and their emigration from the country. In order to increase employment of rural youth it is proposed: to create new jobs; to improve the social infrastructure of the village; agricultural support of young farmers; diversify of jobs; minor agricultural business stimulation and others.

Acest articol analizează principalele cauze ale nivelul scăzut de ocupare a tinerilor din mediul rural: salariile mici; lipsa de experiență profesională; oferta limitată de locuri de muncă; lipsa de pregătire pentru cerințele pieței forței de muncă moderne; reducerea interesului și motivarea tinerilor de a se angaja în sectorul agricol. Acestea și alte motive au condus la creșterea șomajului în rândul tinerilor și emigrarea lor din țară. În scopul ridicării nivelului ocupării forței de muncă tinere din mediul rural, se propune: crearea noilor locuri de muncă; a îmbunătăți infrastructura socială a mediului rural; susținerea tinerilor fermieri; diversificarea locurilor de muncă; stimularea afacerilor agricole și altele.

Cet article analyse les principales raisons du faible taux d'emploi des jeunes en milieu rural: les bas salaires; le manque d'expérience professionnelle: l'offre limitée d'emplois: le manque de preparation pour les exigences du marché du travail moderne la réduction de l'intérêt et la motivation des jeunes à travailler dans le secteur agricole. Ces et autres raisons ont conduit à une augmentation du chômage chez les jeunes et leur migration du pays. Afin d'accroître l'emploi des jeunes en milieu rural, il est proposé: créer de nouveaux emplois; améliorer l'infrastructure sociale du village; soutenir jeunes agriculteurs; diversifier les emplois; stimulation de l'entreprise agricole et d'autres.

В данной статье анализируются основные причины низкого уровня занятости сельской молодежи: низкая заработная плата; отсутствие профессионального опыта: ограниченные предложения рабочих мест: недостаточная подготовка к требованиям современного рынка труда: снижение интереса и мотивации молодежи работать в сельскохозяйственном секторе. Эти и другие причины привели к росту безработицы среди молодых людей и их эмиграции из страны. В целях повышения уровня занятости сельской молодежи статье предлагается: создать новые рабочие места; улучшить социальную инфраструктуру села; поддержать молодых сельскохозяйственных фермеров; диверсифицировать рабочие места; стимулировать материально мелкий сельскохозяйственный бизнес и др.
