Particularitățile selecției albinelor locale

Abstract

Studying the productive and external qualities of bees, deepening knowledge about the morphology, winter resistance and productivity of local bees determines the appreciation of the productive value and provides biological material adapted to the conditions of the Republic of Moldova, which are of scientific and practical interest. Based on the results of the polling, the hive lot is formed for the bee families. A necessary feature for local beekeeping is the work of selection and reproduction of bee families. The purpose of the presented research is to study the morpho-productive indices of bees and the formation of the queen bee nucleus in the apiary from the village of Dănceni, Ialoveni district. The bee families from the brood core are used for the production of queens, drones and queen swarms, for the expansion of the bee family population and for the commercialization of brood bee brood material. After carrying out the investigations at the queen apiary, it was concluded that the exploited Carpathian bee families have ideal morpho-productive qualities to be used as queen families for raising queens, forming swarms and packages with queen bees.
