dc.description.abstract | This paper is dedicated to the development of an algorithm regarding the evaluation of the influence of reactive power compensation on active technical power losses in transformers of various rated powers, installed in transformer stations. It is demonstrated that the compensation of the reactive power leads to the reduction of technical active power losses within the limit of 30%−60%, depending on the nominal power of the transformer. | en_US |
