Abstract:
The article descibes some Dacian traces discovered in England. The AE
1997.1779a document attests that from 20 cohorts that were in Britain under the command of
Trebius Germanus, 4 of them (Cohors Primae Aelia Dacorum milliaria; Cohors Secundae
Pannoniorum; Cohors Secundae Dalmatorum; Cohors Septimae Thracum) were Dacian. The
analysis of archeological finds showed that most Dacian traces have been discovered on altar
stones, tomb stones and on the walls of Birdoswald fort, Hadrian’s Wall (England).
