dc.description.abstract	The necessity for implementation of pedestrian zones in the city of Chisinau is due to the modern society's requirements for the creation of the areas either for displacement, purveyance, spending free time and recreation, communication or and socialization, these areas being strictly important in the formation of public space. Public space is, actually in fact, an essential component of the whole urban, forming the basis of resistance or, in other words, the city's resistance structure.	en_US
