Abstract

Arhitectura populară este una dintre cele mai impresionante forme materiale ale culturii tradiționale. Evoluând în timp, ea a favorizat crearea formelor mici, ornamentica şi plastica decorului arhitectural. Problema abordată în acest articol se concentrează asupra descrierii formelor mici de la intrarea în ograda țărănească. Este vorba de interpretarea organizării structurale a porții mari și mici, detaliile ce le compun și elementele de înfrumusețare. Concomitent sunt reflectate și aspecte ce țin de simbolistica porților. În final ajungem la concluzia că sistemul constructiv-decorativ a porților gospodăriei țărănești reprezintă una dintre cele mai desăvârșite forme arhitecturale din creația populară. Poarta întregeşte ambianţa socio-familială, simbolizând locul de trecere dintre spațiul din afară spre cel din interior. Acest element arhitectonic marchează pragul dintre spaţiul comunitar sătesc şi spaţiul casnic. Prin forma, decorul şi ornamentica sa, porțile înglobau o semantică destul de complexă. Evolving over time, it favored the creation of small shapes, ornaments and plasticity of architectural decor. he problem addressed in this article focuses on the description of small forms situated at the entrance to the peasant yard. It is about interpreting the structural organization of the largeand small gates, their details and beautification elements. Simultaneous, are also reflected aspects related to the symbolism of the gates.Finally, we conclude that the constructive-decorative system of the gates of the peasant household represents one of the most exquisite architectural forms of popular creation. Gate completes social and family environment, symbolizing the passage from the outside space to the inside. This architectural element marks the threshold between the village community space and the home space. Through their form, decoration and ornaments, the gates incorporated a rather complex semantics.
