dc.description.abstract	This article deals with the modern approach to the reconstruction of the historical areas of Chisinau by means of infill development. The article tackles the problems and effectiveness of condensing the historical center of Chisinau with high-rise buildings. The results of the study reveal the need for a special approach to the reconstruction of historic urban core, considering the sanitary and construction standards.	en_US
