Utilizarea protocolului IPv6 de către prestatorii de servicii Internet

Abstract

În capitolul 1 al tezei de master a fost efectuată o scurtă prezentare a esenţei şi principiului de funcţionare a protocolului IPv6 şi a protocoalelor asociate acestuia, au fost prezentate asemănările şi deosebirile dintre IPv6 şi celelalte protocoale de nivel reţea.

În capitolul 2 au fost analizate informaţiile acumulate privind starea prezentă a protocolului IPv6 şi utilizate aceste informaţii în scopul elaborării unui plan de migrare a reţelei existente la protocolul IPv6.

În capitolul trei al tezei, în urma analizei efectuate a fost luată decizia de a implementa protocolul IPv6 în regim dual-stack, adică fără deconectarea protocolului IPv4.

De asemenea, a fost argumentată necesitatea implementării tunelării manuale a IPv6 prin reţeaua IPv4, prezentîndu-se argumente aferente necesității migrării către protocolul IPv6.

In Chapter 1 of the master thesis was performed a brief overview of the essence and principle of operation of IPv6 protocol and its associated protocols were presented similarities and differences between IPv6 and other network-level protocols.

In chapter 2 were analyzed information gathered on the present state of IPv6 protocol, and used this information to elaborate migration plan of existing network to IPv6 protocol.

In the third chapter of the master thesis, the analysis performed was decided to implement IPv6 in dual-stack mode, ie without disconnecting the IPv4 protocol.

It has also been decided to implement manually tunneling of IPv6 to IPv4 network, presenting the arguments relating to the need for migration to IPv6 protocol.
