Abstract

Energy consumption for heating/cooling residential and office buildings of type nZEB is closely related to the building envelope. One of the measures to increase the energy performance of such buildings is to increase the performance of the tire The type of windows and their technical and energy characteristics determine the amount of light and heat transmitted from the outside to the inside or vice versa. In the last two decades, technologies for the realization of glazed systems (windows, shading systems, frames, control systems) have developed. Identifying the most suitable dynamic glazing systems that can be integrated into nZEB buildings is an important step in their design.
