dc.description.abstract My aim in this paper is to argue for the idea that the new information and communication technologies (ICT) have transformed the human society in all its dimensions from the economic activities to the cultural interaction and social structure. If we accept the ideas of a “global village” and of a global common problem, then the new ICT are an exemplary case for the trend to globalization. The question is if we have also enough reasons to conclude that the project of a global ethics is also theoretically and practically justifiable. en_US
