Abstract:
The necessity for the selection of chemical additives for concrete from the point of view of the nature of the binder and the main effect of the action is dis- cussed in the paper. The obligatoriness of chemical analysis of the additives for concrete is considered from the perspective of their impact on the human body. The methodology for determination of the ammonium compounds content based on the potentiometric method in chemical additives for various purposes is pro- posed. According to this procedure the concentration of ammonium ions in the aqueous solutions should not exceed 100 mg/kg. It is reported that on the basis of the mentioned above methodology the amendment to the state standard is devel- oped. The data of monitoring of the content of ammonium ions in the additives used in the Brest region is resulted.
