dc.description.abstract | This article presents the results of study regarding role and importance of wood constructions within sustainable development and adjustment to climate change. Thanks to the fact that wood is renewable, resistant, lasting and with low energy consumption, nowadays it is in the spotlight as the only material which can be subject to innovation process in order to build constructions with planned features. Some actions undertook in various countries for advancement of wooden constructions are looked at, emphasising necessary measures to be undertaken in the field of education. Some measures directed towards development of construction sector in the Republic of Moldova are suggested as well as getting acquainted with complex benefits for the environment. | en_US |
