Small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of a national economy, which is why this sector should be actively developed, but this is impossible without proper management, including in the financial segment. The actuality of the research is due to several circumstances. In modern economic conditions, the analysis of a company's financial situation is an important tool that ensures the stable and successful operation of an economic entity in the market. Such an analysis allows the identification and elimination of shortcomings in financial and economic activities, the determination of reserves to increase financial stability and efficiency of the enterprise, its development prospects, to prevent and overcome financial crises, etc. The results obtained confirm that this paper is part of the flow of publications that support the fact that the financial diagnosis plays a key role in achieving the stability of a company oriented towards sustainability and sustainable development of the future.
