Beneficiile Departamentului Inginerie Biomedicală – studiu de caz Spitalul Internațional Medpark

Abstract

Domeniul de cercetare îl constituie aspectele teoretice şi practice ale funcționalității departamentului inginerie biomedicală din cadrul Medpark și managementul tehnologiilor medicale.

Scopul lucării constă în elaborarea unor metode, tehnici şi modele pentru performanța unui departament de inginerie biomedicală

Metodologia cercetării știinifice se bazează pe analiza funcționalității departamentului inginerie biomedicală prin aplicarea indicatorilor cheie de performanță.

Noutatea şi originalitatea știinifică a rezultatelor obinute constă în: definirea unui nou model sau etalon de departament inginerie biomedicală în cadrul unui spital – cerințele acreditării la care au fost aliniate toate procesele, sunt o recomandare și pot ajunge la o necesitate pentru a atinge performanțe înalte în deservirea pacientului din punct de vedere calitativ și sigur.

Semnificaţia teoretică a lucrării o constituie elaborarea metodelor de management al dispozitivelor medicale și aprecierea rolului inginerului biomedical în sistemele de sănatate.

Valoarea aplicativă a lucrării constă în elaborarea unor metode și algoritmi de sinteză care asigură obținerea unor rezultate măsurabile a departamentului inginerie biomedicală, ce se caracterizează prin siguranța, calitatea și fiabilitatea de funcționare a dispozitivelor medicale mai înalte decît cele obținute prin munca tradițională. Programul de management al dispozitivelor medicale propus și conștientizarea rolului departamentului inginerie biomedicală asigură o implementare eficientă a gestionării tuturor echipamentelor în cadrul unui spital sau în cadrul unei organizații.

The field of research is the theoretical and practical aspects of the functionality of the biomedical engineering department within Medpark and the management of medical technologies.

The aim of the paper is to develop methods, techniques and models for the performance of a biomedical engineering department.

The methodology of scientific research is based on the analysis of the functionality of the biomedical engineering department by applying key performance indicators.

The novelty and scientific originality of the results obtained consists in: defining a new model or standard of biomedical engineering department in a hospital - the accreditation requirements to which all processes have been aligned are a recommendation and can reach a need to achieve high performance in quality and safe patient care.

The theoretical significance of the paper is the development of medical device management methods and the appreciation of the role of the biomedical engineer in health systems.

The applicative value of the paper consists in the elaboration of methods and synthesis algorithms that ensure the obtaining of measurable results of the biomedical engineering department, which is characterized by the safety, quality and reliability of medical devices higher than those obtained by traditional work. The proposed medical device management program and the awareness of the role of the biomedical engineering department ensure an efficient implementation of the management of all equipment within a hospital or within an organization.
