dc.description.abstract Additive manufacturing (AM) is about to become a production technique that will change the way paris are manufactured in the future. Improved complexity and custom features are a deciding factor. AM's expectations for the future are very high, as much of the tradiţional paris made of metal alloys can now be successfully made of plastics, ceramics and composites. Stereolithography (SLA), Fusion Deposition Modeling (DFM), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) as the processing technologies for plastics in the form of liquids, filaments and powders are part of the additive production techniques, which are considered as some of the more promising for funcţional end products in the AM area. With additive technologies, plastics can be recommended: PEK (Polyether ketone); PEEK (Polyether ether ketone); PEKK (Polyether ketone ketone), PEI (Polyetherimide); MC Nylon (Polyamide); ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene); PLA (Polylactic acid) etc. en_US
