In mediul economic actual, se manifesta un interes deosebit pentru exploatarea profitabilă a
activelor tehnologice ale altor companii prin transfer de tehnologie. Factorii externi care au facilitat
transferul internaţional de tehnologie include: globalizarea afacerilor, liberalizarea regimurilor
economice din multe ţări şi impulsul acordat protecţiei proprietăţii intelectuale. In rezultat, transferul
comercial de tehnologie a devinit un element important al mediului de afaceri internaţional. Se observa,
că procesul de transfer de tehnologie poate fi problematic şi că, de cele mai multe ori, cesionarii nu au
abilităţile necesare pentru a-1 gestiona eficient. In lucrare se analizeaza abordarea transferului de
tehnologie de pe poziţiile ciclului de viaţă pentru planificarea şi implementarea lui, astfel sa fie
inlesnita soluţionarea unora dintre problemele importante de gestionare a proceselor cu care se
confruntă managerii proiectelor de transfer de tehnologie şi sa fie evitate erorile. Sunt aratate punctele
tari şi punctele slabe ale diferitor modele si metode de transfer tehnologic.
In the current economic environment, there is a special interest in the profitable exploitation of
the technological assets of other companies through technology transfer. Externai factors that have
facilitated the internaţional transfer of technology include: globalization of business, liberalization of
economic regimes in many countries and the impetus given to the protection of intellectual property.
As a result, commercial technology transfer has become an important element of the internaţional
business environment. It is noted that the technology transfer process can be problematic and that, in
most cases, the assignees do not have the necessary skills to manage it efficiently. The paper analyzes
the approach to technology transfer from the positions of the life cycle for its planning and
implementation, so as to facilitate the solution of some of the important problems of process
management faced by technology transfer project managers and to avoid errors. The strengths and
weaknesses of different models and methods of technology transfer are shown.
