Abstract:
This paper addresses the issue of the continuous search for the meaning of human existence. The choice of this theme was motivated by the fact that man always faces difficulties in answering this question. The paper aims to study several points of view regarding the interpretation of the meaning of life from a philosophical point of view. The aim of the paper was to identify the most successful explanations of the purpose of human life, as well as to find out the opinions and attitudes of the great philosophers of the world - Socrates, Platon, Epicurus, Kant, Nietzsche and Camus. Visions are different from the mythology that has a totally negativist view of the life sense, the religion that offers hope to mankind and the philosophy that creates an amalgam that meets both of these two concepts. In conclusion, the paper highlights the fact that each person has an own response to this question. The purpose of life is to achieve happiness, and happiness is found by each of us in something special.
