Abstract:
New cybersecurity risks have emerged with the growing prevalence of Internet of Things (IoT) systems. These risks stem from insufficient authentication and authorization, encryption that is not strong enough, and vulnerabilities in software. Cybercriminals can exploit these vulnerabilities to access important data, interfere with infrastructure, and even cause physical damage. To address these risks, organizations must adopt a cybersecurity strategy that is based on risk assessment, implement comprehensive security measures such as network segmentation and intrusion detection, and regularly update their software and firmware.
