The problems connected to the optimization of reliability in the electrical networks of different voltage levels have a probabilistic character and depend on a number of definite and indefinite factors which have a significant importance in the selection of electric equipment in the structure and development graph of the electrical networks and systems.The determination of the influence factors determining the functioning regimes of the electrical equipment and the assessment of their statistical behaviour allow to elaborate mechanisms ensuring the reliability of electrical distribution systems and networks with different levels of voltage
