Abstract:
The permanent electromagnetic field used for hens’ eggs hatchery technology had a positive influence, increasing the hatchery indices. The first quality index received from a number of hens from the group with irradiated eggs was higher with 16,1%, comparing with the same index in the control group. An important index for poultry production is the level of dead embryos during the hatchery period. The level of this index was lower in the group with irradiated eggs-10, 0%, in the control group it was-13, 4%. The level of hatchery calculated from all eggs was – 70, 0% and from fertile eggs it was - 87, 5% in the group with irradiated eggs, these indices in the control group were - 68, 3% and - 83, 7%. The use of this kind of irradiation for eggs hatching allowed at the beginning of hatchery with five hours earlier, is possibly connected to the better embryo development during the hatchery period
