Abstract:
Over the years, clothing collections for people with disabilities have become an interesting topic and a sought-after niche for the research and development of new designs and for a social study of inclusion in the field of work. For this category of consumers, the choice of clothing is not very wide; they have to keep looking and make various compromises until they find something that meets their needs. This paper presents a collection of garments developed with the specific needs and wishes of people with disabilities in mind. Through a desk study involving persons with physical disabilities, the details of the model were identified by analyzing their responses. In the end, a collection of fashionable and functional women’s clothing was proposed that offers comfort, the feeling of beauty and uniqueness.
