Abstract:
This study presents a surgical guidance for otitis media in case the existence of tumoral formations and polyps at this level. Here are presented the surgical techniques with right approachment at this level for dog and cat. The observations were made on a number of 18 dogs and 9 cats by different breeds and age supposed on surgical interventions .The surgical intervention consist in a remove of auricular conduct, the remove of auricular conduct and lateral osteotomy of the tympanic bule in dogs cases and ventral osteotomy of tympanic bule in cats cases. The evolution and healing in operated cases was different from subject to subject depending of damage degreeo of the tympanic bule. In that way in the majority of cases we see a healing after 20 - 30 days post surgery, and is necessary a local treatment daily and for 5 - 7 days general treatment post surgery with antibiotics
