Abstract:
Methods and equipment to estimate the working capacity of milking units have been studied. In the paper, there are specified the requirements for performance attributes, structure and software of the milking equipment parameters with the measuring device EXITEST-3 and they are updated according to the new edition of the standard ISO 6690:2007. Additional testing parameters of the milking equipment were defined more exactly due to the analysis of interaction between milking machine elements and udder teats. The integrated influence of the liner on teats is considered in details. It was determined the concept of “massaging action” and the technique of definition of liner “over-pressure” on the teat tip is presented too. The necessary set of the parameters (allowing to estimate serviceability of the milking unit with the help of the device EXITEST) is determined
