Abstract:
Traditionally, the agriculture of the Republic of Moldova remains the basic sector of the economy, characterized by strong tendencies of becoming unprofitable in the most of its branches. For Moldova, it is strategically important to re-orient its resources towards added value production and exports. Both agriculture and food industry shall become efficient at national level and competitive on the international markets if necessary efforts will be undertaken in the following domains: agribusiness environment, access facilitation to credits, development of agro-food marketing infrastructure, use of new technologies and others. The organic agriculture has a green light in the rural areas, and the economic activities with added value shall be extended aiming at making the agriculture more viable
