Abstract:
The paper presents the research results concerning the behavior of eleven sugar beet varieties with and without protection against foliar diseases attack in the conditions of natural infection. Systemic fungicide action against Cercospora beticola Sacc had a good result: resistant varieties increased by 2,31t/ha of sugar yield and the sensitive one by 3, 10 t/ha. The selection is imperative, aiming at the increase of the varieties resistance to the diseases and of the saccharine into the root
