Abstract:
The article presents the development of the experimental machine for the investigation of materials’ and metal coatings’ weariness, jamming, wear process, as well as the phenomena occurring at contact cyclic loading. The description of machine’s design features is given. It was shown that its use provides a modeling work of the investigated pairs at standard, as well as at the accelerated tests. Features concerning the research of metal coatings at contact fatigue strength are given. Thus the relative error, at a limit prolongation of contact fatigue strength on the example of chromic and iron coverings, does not exceed 3, 5 %.
