Abstract:
The invention relates to fruit growing, namely to a process for thinning apple tree flowers. The process, according to the invention, comprises spraying the trees with a 0.5…0.6% aqueous urea solution, with a consumption of 1000 L/ha, in spring in the flowering phase, 75% of the flowers being opened before the first flower petal fall, at the temperature of 12…25oC and air humidity of 65-80%.
