Abstract

The investigations were made on an apple-tree plantation in 1997 on the varieties Idared and Ionagold grafted on the rootstock M 9. There have been studied the following variants: V1 – in the single lines and vertical plan formed by the life thin spindle. The trees placement systems are 4 x 1,5 m (m); V2 - in the single lines and vertical plan formed by the life thin spindle. The trees placement systems are 4 x 0,75 m; in the single lines and vertical plan formed by the life thin spindle. The trees placement systems are 4 x 1,5 m; in the single lines and vertical plan formed by the life thin spindle. The trees placement systems are 4 x 1,5 m; V3 - in the single lines and in two oblique plans formed by the life thin spindle. The trees placement systems are 4 x 0,75 m. It was established that the most effective for farm orchard is single lined and two oblique plans formed life thin spindle where the average harvest for five years at the Idared variety was 26.5 t/ha and the Ionagold variety- 23.2 t/ha.
