dc.description.abstract | The paper aims to analyse the traffic parameters in the context of rush hour by comparing 2 types of intersections: roundabout intersection, respectively traffic light intersection. The analysis was performed during rush hour because the column formation of vehicles transiting the intersection was observed. The analysis was performed by collecting traffic volumes and simulating them using Synchro 6 software. Results have shown that each intersection has its strong and weak points, but in terms of overall traffic fluidity, the signalized intersection has better results with its controlled traffic flow. | en_US |
