dc.description.abstract The work considers the problem of designing flexible structure products for women. The work considers the theoretical and applied aspects of using creative methods in the design of garments for women, using the innovational constructive approaches with elements of morphological transformation. The study has been centered on a dress-type product for women. The used methodology implies the identification and analysis of techniques, principles and methods of transformation of products, determination of informational-logical legalities and methods of selecting the optimum solutions for models providing for the best correlation between the significant characteristics of external appearance of wearers of the age group of 45-60 years and the elements of morphological transformation used in the products, for the creation of an integer and harmonic image. The experimental studies were centered on obtaining a dress-type product for women with a flexible structure owing to the use of transformation processes and techniques, according to the individual particularities of wearers of the target group with the dimension type 158-96 108. The obtained results have been contoured into a system of dresses for women, models elaborated by morphological transformation. The system models represent an ensemble of shapes, constructive lines and elements of morphological transformation (collar element, sleeve, pocket and skirt), all positioned and chosen in accordance with the characteristics of wearers‟ bodies. The experimental studies demonstrated that the use of combined transformation techniques and methods with the traditional constructive design procedures allows for the diversification of models and assortments of garments, including products manufactured at industrial scale. en_US
