Abstract:
Nematode community including 48 species of plant parasitic and free-living nematodes was revealed in the soil and roots of pepper in greenhouse of R. Moldova. Among dangerous plant parasitic species the numerous populations created the endoparasitic species Pratylenchus pratensis, P. penetrans, P. neglectus, semi-endoparasites Rotylenchus robustus, Helicotylenchus dihystera, H.multicinctus and ectoparasites Paratylenchus nanus. Nematodes such as bacteriophages fam. Mesorhabditidae, Cephalobidae, Plectidae accelerated the decomposition of affected pepper roots. The density of phytonematodes was 1860 – 2540 specimens/100 cm 3 soil.
