dc.description.abstract The plotting of water level fluctuations in wells is one of the most effective methods for registering hydrogeological information. According to long-term observations, it is possible to estimate the aquifer discharge and the aquifer recharge. A system for the continuous long-term monitoring of water level and temperature in reservoirs, water storage basins, lakes, rivers, and shallow boreholes has been developed. The system consists of a highly sensitive hydrostatic sensor, a coil with a special cable, and a module of data collection on an MicroSD card, which makes it possible to archive up to 10 million records. en_US
