Evoluția gravurii naționale de după 1990

Abstract

Engraving in Moldova in the contemporary period, showed the main tendencies in the evolution of national plastic arts, from narativismul "socialist realism" and tematico ideo-logical structure to the first formal artistic experiments in the early 70s of the last century and the metamorphoses of national engraving after 90s. Important representative of this genera-tion can be considered Simion Zamsa, Elena Karacenţev, Ion Severin, Valeriu Herta, Tudor Fabian, Violeta Zabulica etc. who in their work showed the maximum freedom of virtuosity and inexhaustible the imagination of expression. At the forefront of the creative process of engravers experiment is imposed in various techniques and methods plastic of engraving. National Art after 1990 confers to the genre of engraving new subjects and new approaches, involving massive experiment of mixed technologies and artistic expression with the tenden-cy of integration in European art at the beginning of the third millennium.
