Abstract:
Development ergonomic clothes for patients currently are underway. The subject of study
in this paper is cotton fabrics and fabrics from cotton mixed with other fibers, both summer and
winter destination.
Evaluations of physical and hygienic properties of fabrics were held by triangles method. The
experimental data analysis on water absorption, vapor permeability, capillarity allowed revealing
fabric samples with high levels of hygiene. There were built graphs of experimental values of
studied factors with separation the comfort zone for the visual evaluation of the fabrics’ properties.
After analyzing the values of water vapor permeability, capillarity, hygroscopicity and moisture in
dependence on the structural characteristics were identified optimal structural characteristics of the
fabrics that can determine the selection of materials for hospital clothing. Thus, the analytical
approach to the selection of materials for hospital clothes will provide a positive therapeutic effect of
using clothes due to the creation a positive psychological state.
