Abstract:
For the first time glass-insulated wires of Bi with d ≤ 1 μm and trigonal orientation were prepared. Samples crystallographic orientation was determined by means of X-ray diffraction method and was confirmed by angle rotation diagrams of transverse magnetoresistance and Shubnikov de Haas (ShdH) oscillations. It is shown that frequency of ShdH at elastic deformation increase three times indicating that the sections of the Fermi surfaces are increase. Features on longitudinal magnetoresistance and thermopower with the maximum on R(B) and area of negative magnetoresistance, its dependence on temperature and wires diameter show the manifestation of the galvanomagnetic size effect.
