Procesarea şi analiza întrebărilor într-un sistem de „întrebare-răspuns”

Abstract

This paper tackles the issue of the question-answering system for Romanian speakers that is being developed within the project “Research in the field of Information Retrieval for question-answering system creation”. The document collection provided by the Information Society Development Institute serves as basis for the first stage of system creation and implementation. The questions extracted from these documents have been classified according to the question types defined by the linguists. The two modules of the system enable it to process the questions and retrieve the answers. The created system was subject to primary testing and the results are presented.
