Abstract:
The ballad Miorita, a genius folkloric epic poem, is maybe the oldest expression of the exceptional creativity of the pelasg-daco-romans is the cornerstone of the spirituality of this people. The poem can be described as a cultural landmark that illustrates the philosophical concepts of this people. It is also a flawless aesthetic creation but also a very valuable historic source. The present research begins with the intent of deciphering the messages hidden into the text with the intention of unraveling the primary formats of the poem. To reach this goal we began from identifying the time line of all ideatic layers, separating the zalmocsian influences from the latter addition of christian influences. We will bring valid arguments to distinguish the early stages of the creation of this epic poem from the modern variant published by Alecsandri. We are using in our demonstration the logic of the epic unraveling but also the strong lyric and dramatic accents, the characters structures and many more other valid arguments. All the above mentioned arguments that are sustaining the unraveling of realistic sequences of a great era constitutes the basis of the ideas that lead us to this body of work.
