Despre geometria ornamental–artistică cucuteniană. Naşterea şi apariţia geometriilor

Abstract

This paper presents the genesis and evolution of geometry [as a necessity of the civilisation that reached a certain level of progress], inspired by nature and used for a better understanding of it. The paper starts with a summary of the Euclidian geometry and introduces the concept of Cucuteni artistic-decorative geometry, concept exemplified in a series of expressive images. The paper continues with a multidisciplinary analysis of the Cucuteni culture and civilisation, highlighting the exceptional virtues of their creators. We have used the combinatorics mathematical theory to analyse the Cucuteni decorative geometry.
