dc.description.abstract The logistics terminals enable the transfer of goods between line-haul transport and urban goods distribution, being components of efficient logistics system. The concept of logistics terminal has been proposed to diminishing traffic congestion, to reduce energy consumption and pollution. The paper presents a simulation model developed for determining the size of storage surface in a public logistic terminal. Due to particularities of the logistic terminal activities, the analytical models are not adequate for determining the storage capacity. The solution for this problem can be obtained with simulation model. en_US
