Interpretarea epico-baladică a figurativului din pictura moldovenească

Abstract

The given article highlights the process and the interpretation trends of the thematic subjects from the Moldovan figurative paintings in the late 60ies. A great interest for the representation of the ethnographic character of figurative images through a specific epic- ballad vision has been noticed during this period. This interpretative way supports a more familiar presentation of the "military-patriotic" subject which was promoted intensively at those times, providing for the figurative images some ballad-legendary qualities, characteristic to the national typology. The epic-ballad character of the figurative feature becomes notorious in the national painting, promoting major idea concepts focused on the human, spiritual, cultural and national values.
