dc.description.abstract The dimensions, axle load, total mass and technical speeds of modern cars are constantly increasing. Heavy vehicles, whose traffic is economically profitable, cause the premature degradation of road pavement. The experience gained in Europe and the United States has shown that rigid roller-compacted concrete (RCC) foundations and structures bring about a number of economic and technical advantages in conditions of the Republic of Moldova. The main advantages are durability, low cost. Another advantage is that no imported materials are required for their production. en_US
