dc.description.abstract	The paper resumes a hundred years of history of architecture in România with three major periods; monarchy (from King Ferdinand to the late King Michael's forced abdication in 1947), communism (1948-1989) and beyond 1989 until today. Two categories in each section are common: edifice and housing, while the third is different in each: cathedrals, industrial architecture, and restauration/competition, respectively.	en_US
